NETWORK TESTS
The NetXpert XG2 not only offers the ability to test passive cabling, but also checks
active networks for function and locates the errors. It is suitable for use
in commissioning an active network and simple diagnostics.
In
Network Tests
mode, the NetXpert XG2 supports copper, fiber, and WiFi in
both IPv4 and IPv6 environments.
Depending on the device type, different Ethernet speeds are supported.

A license key allows a {subsequent} upgrade for all models up to 10 Gigabit Ethernet.
The device is connected either via the RJ45 copper connection, the SFP or SFP +
connection for fiber optics or via WiFi by means of the internal antenna
{in the 2.4/5GHz band}.
