Tap on the settings icon on the home screen to configure the NetXpert XG2.
HW Config
In hardware configuration screen, preferred medium can be selected for a networking test as well as fiber
optic cable test. It is also possible to find out detailed information of an SFP by simply inserting it in one of
two SFP cages.

SFP Port Selection
As both SFP cages on the unit are capable of transmitting data on 1Gbit/s and 10 Gbit/s, it is necessary to
configure the ports before running a fiber cable test or an active network test. It is sufficient to set the
preferred combination once and NetXpert XG2 will remember it when running either passive cable test or
an active network test.
