STEP 2: Install the Software

IMPORTANT!

Make sure to install the software BEFORE inserting
the modem card into your Pocket PC.

Make sure you have ActiveSync 4.0 or greater. You can
download it from

www.socketcom.com/activesync

Symbol MC50: Do not install the software from the
installation CD. Download the correct software from:

Note: Advanced installation instructions are provided in Appendix C.

Make sure you have ActiveSync 4.0 or greater.

2.

Use ActiveSync and a USB/Ethernet/serial cable or cradle to make an
active connection between the mobile computer and a host PC.

ActiveSync should report
