OPTIONAL: Use Modem-On-Hold
In order to use Modem-on-Hold, you need Call Waiting service
from your local phone company and a line splitter. If you would like
your Pocket PC to identify incoming calls, you need Type 2 Caller
ID service from your local phone company.

When you are connected to your network and receive a call, the Socket
Modem Status screen will appear in the foreground.
If you are connected to your network and would like to initiate a call,
access the Socket Modem Status screen by tapping on the task tray icon.

Read the instructions that appear. To answer an incoming call, tap
HOLD
.

Your Pocket PC will begin to put the modem on hold. Do not use any
Internet applications during this process.
Wait until confirmation that the modem has been put
on hold before picking up the telephone handset!

After the modem has been put on hold, you can pick up your handset to
receive or initiate a call.
