Troubleshooting
PROBLEM CAUSE SOLUTION
QuattroPlow leaving snow
behind.
Cutting edge worn or damaged.
Replace main cutting edge /
wing cutting edges.
Blade tilted too high.
Adjust machines lift and tilt
controls.
Wear shoes out of adjustment.
Raise or lower wear shoes as
needed.
QuattroPlow does not rotate.
No hydraulic flow.
Check quick coupler
connections.
Engage auxiliary hydraulics.
Plugged or kinked hose Replace hose.
Hydraulic fluid low.
Check machine hydraulic oil
level.
QuattroPlow tilt/rotate
functions inconsistent.
Hydraulic fluid low.
Check machine hydraulic oil
level.
Faulty angle cylinder. Replace cylinder.
QuattroPlow wings won't
function on older machine. Lack of pressure to operate the
wing function. Contact SnowWolf on guidance
for valve adjustment.
QuattroPlow wings drift slowly
while pushing or back
dragging.
Wing Relief Pressure too low
on Auto wing manifold. Contact SnowWolf on guidance
for valve adjustment.
QuattroPlow wing will not
move or moves slow. Wing hinge pin seized.
Faulty wing cylinder.
Lubricate and free wing hinge
pin.
Replace wing cylinder.
