Hydraulic Couplers (Cont’d)

Install the QuattroPlow male coupler (Item 1)
[Figure 1] into the female coupler. Pull on the
coupler connection to verify that the male and
female couplers are securely fastened.
Install the QuattroPlow female coupler (Item 2)
[Figure 1] onto the male coupler. Pull on the
coupler connection to verify that the male and
female couplers are securely fastened.
Checking QuattroPlow Operation
NOTE:
After installing the QuattroPlow, test all
functions before operating the
QuattroPlow in the work area.
AVOID INJURY OR DEATH
•
Never start the machine from outside the
cab.
•
Never operate the machine if any safety
device is damaged, disconnected or
missing.
•
Never exit the machine with the engine
running.
It is the operator’s responsibility to know
which machine control operates each
function of the attachment prior to operating
the attachment in the work area.
Engage the machine’s auxiliary hydraulics. (See
the machine’s Operation Manual for correct
procedure).
Raise the engine RPM.
Check the controls of the QuattroPlow for proper
operation.
Exit the machine. (See “Leaving The Operator’s
Position” on page 21.)
Adjust the wear shoes (if equipped) to desired
height. (See “Wear Shoe Adjustment /
Replacement (if equipped)” on page 33.)
NOTE: Wear shoes (if equipped) must be set to
the same height.
Move the machine and QuattroPlow to the work
area.
