INSTALLATION
Make sure that the main voltage is as specified in the documentation or as mentioned on the
identification plate of the equipment.
Verify that the equipment was transported in an upright position and has no physical damage. After
installation please wait 4 to 6 hours before switching on the equipment.
Install the equipment in a room sufficiently ventilated, not directly near heatsources and locate it at
least 15 cm from the walls, to make sure that the coolingsystem is optimum ventilated.
The equipment does not work properly at an ambient temperature above +30°C.
Before you put the equipment into use, make sure that the safety-thermostat, located at the leftside
in the machineroom, is set on approx. -5
°
C & +60
°
C in order to prevent that an alarm will occur
when the
unit will be switched on. These settings can be changed afterwards also.
Note: the high setting of the safety thermostat must be set +5°C above ambient temperature.
Connect the Economic Premium to a direct watersupply by means of a waterhose and open the main
valve. When there is no direct water supply to connect to the Economic Premium, it’s necessary to
place a watertank (optional) at the backside of the machine and connect it to the water supply of the
Economic Premium by means of a waterhose. Please pay attention that the income pressure will be
between 0 and 4 bar. Fill the watertank with water and open the main valve.
Pay attention: never start the machine without a water supply, because this can damage the
magnetvalve of the humidifier.
Standard the Economic Premium is fitted with a wateroutlet (valve), which is situated on the
backside of the cabinet. By opening this valve the water, which is situated on the bottomplate of the
working area, can be removed. Keep in mind that the water will not have influences on the
aircirculation.
Connect the Economic Premium to the main supply and switch on the power.
Program the controller according to the instructions in paragraph 4, 5 & 6.
Note: Snijders Scientific advises to use softened water. You can also use demineralised water,
when the pH value is not below 6,5. Tap water with a hardness of more than 4°D will
influence the lifetime of the humidifier.
