Regular Maintenance
Maintenance Schedule
The following schedule should be followed for normal care of your rider and mower. You will need to keep a
record of your operating time. Determining operating time is easily accomplished by observing the elapsed time
recorded by the hour meter.

Check Rider Brakes
Check Rider / Mower for loose hardware
Check Hydraulic Oil Level**
Every 25 Hours
Clean Deck & Check / Replace Mower Blades*
Lubricate Rider & Mower*
Check Tire Pressures
Every 100 Hours
Clean Battery & Cables
Every 400 Hours
Change Hydraulic Oil & Filter

Before Each Use
Check Engine Oil Level
Every 25 Hours
Check / Clean Cooling Fins & Intake*
Every 50 Hours
Check / Clean Spark Arrester**

Service Air Filter
Change Engine Oil & Filter***
Check / Replace Spark Plugs
Check / Replace Fuel Filter
* More often in hot (over 85°; 30° C) weather or
dusty operating conditions.
** Change original hydraulic oil after first 100 hours of
operation.

Refer to engine owner’s manual for all engine
maintenance procedures and recommendations.
Inspect Muffler and Spark Arrester
Inspect the muffler for cracks, corrosion, or other
damage Remove the spark arrester, if equipped,
and inspect for damage or carbon blockage. If
replacement parts are required, make sure to use only
original equipment replacement parts.
