Connecting Additional Snap Expansion S50 Enclosures

Use an external 4x SAS cable to connect the EXP

 

port on the first enclosure to the 

HOST port on a second S50 enclosure.

To expand your configuration with 

multiple

 S50 enclosures, continue to connect 

the EXP

 

port of the previous enclosure to the HOST port of the next enclosure.

Note  

The  number of S50 enclosures that can be connected to a single  server 

varies, depending on the server configuration. Refer to the user documentation 

on your  server’s User CD.
