Topping up w ith regenerating salt (for models w ith softener) 

 
 
 
 
 
 
 

 

W arning:

 

use specific salt only, do not use cooking sea salt

The salt  cont ainer has a capacit y of about  

1 kg of granulated salt

Correct procedure to refill the regenerating salt: 

- st art  a 

tank pump-out

refill the

 regenerat ing salt , 

fill 

t he t ank (FILL)  

- rest art  t he 

tank pump-out

 

- remove any salt  residues from t he bot t om of t he t ank, as it  may cause 
corrosion/ rust . 
This procedure 

prevents

 t he w ashing w at er t o ent er t he salt  cont ainer 

(possible damage t o t he decalcifier) and t hat  possible residues of salt  are 
left  in t he t ank (risk of corrosion/ rust ).

Routine inspection of the spray arm (once a w eek ) 

Remove t he w ashing and rinsing (t op and bot t om) spray arms by unscrew ing t he cent ral screw ; rem ove the 
rinsing spray arms 3 and remove t he screw s 2 as show n. 

Do not unscrew  the nozzles. 

Clean t he holes and 

nozzles under a jet  of clean running w at er

; do not use tools w hich might cause damage. 

Reassemble t he 

spray arms w it h care. 

 

 

 

 

Clean t he out side of t he appliance w it h a damp clot h and neut ral soap, rinsing and drying t horoughly. 

 

12.5

 

Lengthy periods out of use 

If t he dishw asher is t o be out  of use for a fairly long period of t ime,

 the detergent and rinse aid dispenser 

devices must be emptied to prevent crystallisation and damage to the pumps:

 remove t he int ake hoses 

from t he det ergent  and rinse aid cont ainers and place t hem in a cont ainer of clean w at er, t hen perform a 
few  w ash cycles follow ed by a complet e pump-out . Finally, t urn off t he mast er sw it ch, close t he w at er 
int ake valve and leave t he hood ajar unt il t he int erior is complet ely dry. The det ergent and rinse aid int ake 
hoses must  be put  back int o t he cont ainers w hen t he dishw asher is ret urned t o service,

 taking care not to 

sw ap them over 

(red hose = det ergent , blue hose = rinse aid).
