SMC’s SMC6750L2 is a new generation of high performance
switch that has a non-blocking switch fabric of 19.2Gbps.
With a small footprint of 1RU high, TigerSwitch 10/100
carries 50 fixed auto-MDIX ports and two combo gigabit
ports. The 2 combo gigabit ports include 2 fixed-in
gigabit copper 10/100/1000 ports, but will be disabled if
mini-GBIC ports for fiber gigabit are utilized. With an
aggregated bandwidth of up to 13.6Gbps, this non-blocking
high-density switch is fully packed with Layer 2 switching
features such as RADIUS, link aggregation LACP, QoS,
VLANs with GVRP, IGMP Snooping and priority queuing.
To address administrators’ security concerns, future
software support such as MAC address Filters and
will be implemented.
SMC6750L2 is ideal for medium to large network looking
to strengthen its network backbone connection.
