Basic Internet Access Conguration via WAN
Step 1
: When you logon, select Customize User Interface in the
SYSTEM TOOLS Menu. Accept the Basic Internet Access
selection and click Next. The following window will be displayed, and
select “ I use Internet access over WAN “. Click Next.
Step 2:
Click WAN in the CONFIGURATION Menu.
You may choose to obtain an IP address automatically or
congure it manually by imputing a static IP address. Available options
are via PPP over Ethernet, via DHCP, or No. If you choose No go to
step 3. If you choose via DHCP go to step 4, and if you choose via PPP
over Ethernet go to step 5.
Step 3
: If you choose No for the selection of Obtain IP Address
Automatically. The following screen will be displayed. Enter the
following information and then Click Apply.
Prole Name
: the name that you will use to identify this Internet access
prole.
WAN IP Address:
the IP address of your WAN.
WAN IP Netmask
: the IP Netmask of your WAN.
ISP Gateway IP Address
: the IP Address of your ISP Gateway
Primary DNS IP Address
: the IP Address of your Primary DNS.
Secondary DNS IP Address:
the IP Address of your Secondary DNS
