SAFETY
1.1
At installation apply the finger trap caution stickers in visible areas. Ensure all electrical installation is carried
out by a qualified electrician. The Greasebuster belt has been factory set and should not need adjusting until
obvious wear occurs.
2.
BELT TENSIONING
2.1
Ensure that the belt is centrally located on the upper and lower rollers.
2.2
If the belt needs to be moved release the nuts (A) on the upper roller bearing bolts.
2.3 Release the belt tension using the adjusters (B) so that the belt can be moved to the centre of the rollers,
then apply minimal tension to the belt equally at each side by tightening the adjusters (B).
2.4 Start the machine and ensure that the belt is staying centrally on the rollers.
2.5 If it does not, tighten the belt tension at the side the belt is moving towards, adjusting the tension in 1/4 turn
increments until the belt remains centrally on the rollers.
2.6 Tighten the nuts (A) and leave the belt running for 30 minutes and ensure that the belt remains centrally
located on the rollers, if it does not release the nuts (A) and repeat operations 5 & 6.
