Installation
Before Installation
1. Read
ALL
instructions carefully.
2. Make sure the door is in good condition and suitable
to be motor driven.
3. Make sure that when the door is moving there are no
friction points.
4. The door must be properly balanced and must be
easily moved by hand.
5. Install a 240V, adequately protected 3-pin socket near
where the Smart Roller Shutter Opener is going to be
installed.
Side Room
The minimum sideroom required is 265mm between
the end of the output shaft and the wall. If the situation
permits, it is recommended that 300mm is allowed.
Left Hand/Right Hand Installation
The Smart Roller Shutter Opener has been factory
preset to the right hand side as per Fig. 1a. If this is
correct for your installation no changes need to be made
to the opener. To change to left hand side the following
modifications need to be made.

Remove screws and swap the positions of the
retainer plate and guide plate for the manual chain

Refit screws and ensure that manual chain is
not tangled. The opener is now set for Left Hand
installation.
