6 Opening and Closing
1.
Shut down the Sunny Island.
2.
Disconnect the Sunny Island from all voltage sources (battery, generator, grid). (see chapter
10.1.2 "Stopping" (Page 85) and 10.1.3 "Switching Off" (Page 87)).
3.
Ensure that the system cannot be accidentally switched on again.
Enclosure lid
Only remove the lower enclosure lid from the Sunny Island when you want to mount,
install or maintain it.

DANGER!
Risk of lethal electric shock
High voltages are present in the device!
•
Only qualified personnel should open the device!
•
Do not open the lower enclosure cover!
After the system has been disconnected (see chapter 10.1.4 "Disconnecting the
Device from Voltage Sources" (Page 87)) there are still dangerous voltages present
for up to 15 minutes.
