During synchronization over USB, you are given the option to synchronize with or without
plugins. You can also choose to leave or overwriting plugins if they are already on the V-‐
Machine.
Save command
Pressing the two in-‐line keypads adjacent to the
SAVE command label activates the SAVE command.
The SAVE command saves a snapshot of the
currently selected Preset including all parameter
values to non volatile memory. This is the Master
Saved State of the selected Preset.
The SAVE command can
also be accessed via a MIDI controller as described in
section 1.1.1.1 .

Learn command
Pressing the two in-‐line keypads adjacent to the
LEARN command label activates the LEARN
command.
The LEARN command is used for assigning plugin
parameters to external MIDI controllers. This is a
great way to have hands-‐on control during
performances.
To use this function follow these steps:
1.
Make sure you have the plugin parameter selected that you wish to assign to an external
controller knob/fader
2.
Activate the LEARN function
3.
Move the controller knob/fader on your connected MIDI controller
The plugin parameter has now been assigned to receive MIDI control messages from your
chosen controller.
Quick Tip
: If you wish to permanently use the assigned MIDI control message you should also
SAVE the Preset after using the LEARN command.
The LEARN command can also be accessed via a MIDI controller as described in
section 1.1.1.1
