2. CHOOSING THE LADDER LOCATION
Use extreme care when selecting a location.
• Do not install home playground equipment over concrete, asphalt, packed earth, grass, carpet or any
other hard surfaces. A fall onto a hard surface can result in serious injury or death to the equipment user.
•
Caution:
We recommend a soft, grass area underneath that is clear of ALL obstacles: bushes, rocks, or
anything else that could cause injury. If the grass course becomes hard-packed over time, move course
to a softer location.
• It is also recommended that you place cushioning materials in and around your NINJA LADDER •
See Public Playground Safety Handbook: Visit: www.cpsc.gov//PageFiles/122149/325.pdf. for
specifications.
• Select a location that is easily viewed from your house to allow for supervision and observation.
• Do not setup rope over swimming pools, ponds, streams or rivers as drowning may result.
• Choose a location that is a clear area for at least 6 ft. (2 m) in all directions.
3. ATTACHING YOUR LADDER
Attaching to a NINJALINE™ Kit line
(SLA.788 or SLA.789-both sold separately)
• Attach the NINJA LADDER to the NINJALINE™ by
inserting a Delta Clip carabiner(s) into the line sleeve(s) and then
attach it to the top loop(s) of the ladder.
• DO NOT use with non-b4Adventure lines or injury may result.
•
WARNING: DO NOT CREATE A HEAD TRAP!
You must leave at least a 10 in. (25 cm) or more gap
between the bottom of the attachment point and the top dowel.
Single point attachment
• Using only one carabiner, slide through the sleeve on the NINJALINE™ then attach both loops at the
top of the ladder to the carabiner and lock to close.
Double point attachment
• Using both carabiners, slide through 2 consecutive sleeves on the NINJALINE™ then attach loops at
the top of the ladder to each carabiner.
