If you are not going to use the product for a prolonged period, switch the Power ON/OFF
switch to the OFF position to save battery life.
NOTE: You will need to reset and set the clock again after using this feature.
CHANGING THE BATTERIES
Slide the power ON/OFF switch to the OFF position. Open the battery cover located at
the back of the clock. Insert two
“AA” alkaline batteries into the battery compartment as
indicated by the polarity markings. Follow the instructions to set the clock
NOTE: Do not mix new and old batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or
rechargeable (nickel cadmium) batteries. Please dispose of old batteries in a
reasonable manner.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem: No display when the power is switched ON
Solution 1: Check that the batteries are new and installed correctly.
Solution 2: Press the reset button.
Problem: The power is ON and the display is fading
Solution: Turn the power switch OFF and replace the batteries.
MAINTENANCE
A soft cloth may be used to clean your clock. Do not use any corrosive cleaner or
chemical solutions on the clock. Keep the clock clean and dry to avoid any problems.
TWO YEAR WARRANTY (U.S.A.)
This product is under warranty for two years from the date of the consumer purchase at
Target Stores against defects on material and workmanship. During this period such
defects will be repaired, or the product will be replaced at Equity’s option, without charge.
This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse or negligence. ALL IMPLIED
WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR
FITNESS AND MERCHANTABILITY, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO A PERIOD
ENDING FROM ONE YEAR FROM DATE OF PURCHASE. Some states do not allow
limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts so the above limitation may not apply to
you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights
which vary from state to state.
