This section of the player application allows you to control Alpha mixing between Video A and Video B.
a)
File button – This button brings up a dialog box allowing you to select an alpha file.
b)
File name – This text box specifies the current alpha file and also lets you type a file name directly.
c)
File position slider control – This is a slider control that lets you jump to any position within the alpha file.
It also has a progress bar that shows you where the alpha is positioned in relation to the entire file.
d)
File position – This field shows you the field count of the current alpha field.
e)
Total Flds – This field specifies the total number of alpha fields in the alpha file.
f)
Slider position – This text box specifies what field the slider now points to. It also lets you type a field
number directly. The format is field number.
g)
Motion control buttons – These four buttons are used to control video motion.
1)
PLAY – Starts playing alpha file.
2)
PLAY ALL – Starts playing Video A, Video B, an alpha and an audio file (audio is only played if
the audio is linked).
3)

pauses the alpha at the field specified by the position slider and freezes at that field number.
4)
STOP – Stops the alpha file.
h)
Loop Forever – When this box is checked the alpha file will restart whenever it reaches the end of file
while playing.
i)
Play all Fld delays – These four text boxes allow you to enter delays from when the PLAY ALL button is
pressed to when Video A, Video B, alpha and an audio start playing. This is useful for testing how
transitions will look.
