5. Assembly

Please note that the radio controlled door/window detector disposes of a
magnetic sensor (Reed-contact) on the left hand side. This side of the radio
controlled door/window detector is additionally marked with a red line.

Therefore the mounting of the magnet included in delivery can only take place
on the left side of the radio controlled door/window detector.

Be careful when drilling that you do not damage any power, gas or water
lines, danger to life!

Tip:

Test the correct function first before screw assembling, to avoid unsightly „false“ holes.

• The radio controlled door/window detector consists of two

components, the magnet (the smaller component) and the
radio controlled door/window detector (the larger compo-
nent).
Basically the radio controlled door/window detector is moun-
ted on the door frame (or e.g. window frame) and the mag-
net on the door (or e.g. window).

• Make absolutely sure the bottom of the magnet is 8 mm

away from the bottom of the radio controlled door/window -
detector.

A higher or lower mounting reduces the range of the magnet,
the magnet must be mounted closer to the radio controlled
door/window detector!

The horizontal distance from the magnet to the radio con-
trolled door/window detector must be a maximum of 20 mm.
Ideal is a distance of approx. 10-15 mm.

To guarantee a better hold of the radio controlled door/win-
dow detector, we advise you, to use the mounting plate (A;-
see picture right) included in delivery.

• Apply the mounting plate (A) to the contemplated mounting

site and mark both drill-holes.

• Attach the mounting plate (A) with appropriate mounting

material.

• Stick the two-sided adhesive tape (B) included in delivery

onto the mounting plate (A).

• Attach the radio controlled door/window detector (C).
• Now attach the magnet (pay attention to the distances!) by

means of the double-sided adhesive tape included in
delivery.
