USING THE SCORING FEATURE DURING PLAY
At the end of each hole, the Score Entry screen will display if the
“Prompt Score” option (see 3.4.3) is on. The initial score will default
to par. Use the “+” and “-” buttons on the screen to adjust the
number of shots and putts it took to complete the hole. You can also
indicate whether you hit the fairway, if you missed, or if you hit right
or left of the fairway.
When you are finished, press the “Score Entry” button to view the
complete scorecard which shows a summary of how many holes
have been played to that point in your round, how much over or
under par you are, your total score, and number of putts. Press the
“Back” button to continue to the next hole.
During play you can also view your scorecard by turning the TOUCH
counter-clockwise without pressing any buttons, if the AutoView
feature is on. You can press the “Exit” button to return to the Green
View or simply return your SkyCaddie’s screen to an upright position
to return to the Green View automatically. (Refer to section 3.2.1 for
more information about AutoView.)
The Over/Under Summary tracks your performance against the pars
for each hole. A negative number represents strokes under par; a
positive number represents strokes over par. An “E” displays if you
complete a hole at par. When you are finished viewing this screen,
you can either press “Exit” (in AutoView) or the “Back” button to
return to the Green View, and continue with your round, or press the
“Enter Score” screen button to edit your score.
