Rear bumper spoiler
The accessories are intended for professional fitting. ŠKODA AUTO recommends that they are
fitted by a contractual partner.
The component is manufactured from polyurethane (PUR). This component is delivered to
ŠKODA AUTO by the manufacturer without a surface treatment for paintwork preparation. To
subsequently paint the component, the applicable instructions regarding the painting of PUR
materials issued by the paint manufacturer must be observed.
Note. The rear bumper spoiler can only be fitted to Octavia (5E)
vehicles with the parking aid system or the parking assistant equip-
ment – PR numbers 7X1, 7X2, 7X5 – without an opening for the trailer
coupling.
The rear bumper spoiler cannot be fitted to the RS and Scout models.
It is only possible to fit the rear bumper spoiler strip once the rear
bumper spoiler has been adhered to the rear bumper for at least 24
hours.

Note
The adhesive sealant and the required activators are not contained in the set and are to
be ordered individually according to workshop usage.
From the range of ŠKODA Original Accessories:
P1 adhesive sealant (L) – 2 x 80 ml Order no. HHA 381 014
or
from the Henkel range:
P1 adhesive sealant – 1 x 300 ml
or
the following media from the Dow range:
Betamate 2810 adhesive sealant (J)
Betawipe 4000 activator (K).
