6. Maintenance and repair
The mechanics of the eos® Transfer Tray P7810 are maintenance-free.
The UV lamps must be replace in order to maintain the cleaning efficiency. The UV lamps may only be
replaced by personnel authorized by SITEC.
6.1. General cleaning information
In particular, the quartz plate of the tray must be cleaned regularly to avoid a reduction in cleaning
efficiency due to pollution. Please only use suitable cleaning agents (common universal cleaner). Do
not use any corrosive cleaning agents, or agents containing solvents.
We recommend wet cleaning for hard-to-remove dirt on the device. Mild household cleaners in a
watery solution (such as neutral cleaner, vinegar-based cleaner, or soapy water) can be used for wet
cleaning. Scouring agents, or cleaners containing acetone or solvents are not permitted. Make sure to
dry the device after wet cleaning to ensure that no liquid or water gets inside the transfer tray.
IMPORTANT!
Always place cleaning agents onto a cleaning cloth instead of placing them
directly on the device.
Always make sure cleaning is completed with a soft cloth that is free from any abrasive objects like
sand or grit. Do not use sponges with a rough surface.
In general, and specifically when using cleaning aids that are different from those specified, always
test them out on a non-visible area to ensure they are compatible with the device.
WARNING!
DANGER from UV radiation.
The transfer tray operates with UV radiation, which is dangerous for living
beings.
Never look directly into the UV light.
Never open the flaps of the transfer tray during the cleaning process.
Always disconnect the power supply if the housing must be opened. Only
qualified personnel authorized by SITEC may perform repair and
maintenance work on the transfer tray.
