Setting the Volume
To set the volume, select the respective intercom on the operator side

and the customer side

The volume settings are set and stored individually for each possible combination of intercoms on the customer
and operator sided. Thus, when switching intercom system, the stored volume setting will change correspondingly
too.
The volume can be set louder or quieter using the Plus-Minus buttons
and
. The Plus-Minus buttons in the
upper row adjust the volume of the chosen intercom on the operator side, the lower buttons the volume of the
intercom on the customer side. When the Plus-Minus buttons are first pressed, the lightning bar below the Plus-
Minus buttons activates and displays the volume actually set. Each press thereafter changes the volume. The
settings are automatically stored for the intercom systems chosen.
Call Function from Extensions on the Customer Side (Ringing)
If a customer/visitor presses the call button on an extension, a gong will be heard on the intercom currently active
on the operator
’s side. If no system on the operator side is active, the gong will be heard on the main control on
the operator side
. Additionally, the loudspeaker symbol
on the lower row of the control panel is illuminated.
The button corresponding to
the customer’s side extension that rang also flashes. The call can be taken by
pressing the flashing button or by pressing the multi-function button
. If the multi-function button
is then
pressed again, the system will switch to the previous conversation.
Example:
a) Conversation between main control
and customer extension
b) Visitor rings on customer side
.

c) By pressing button
, the
conversation switches to the
customer extension
. The
extension selected by the operator side
is on hold.

conversation switches back to the
extension on the customer side
