Ironing
1. Press the steam release button (12) for ironing with steam.
IMPORTANT:
During fi rst use: Press the steam release button for 40 seconds until steam
comes out.
During the
fi rst seconds of use the amount of steam will be lower and it will
increase progressively.
Drops of water may leak out while there is still air in the circuit.
WARNING: Ironing with an excessive amount of steam may produce
condensation of the hot water and dripping from the ironing board or
through any other permeable surface.
“Steam Turbo Shot” function
This appliance has a special function for tackling dif fi cult creases.
1. Press the steam release button (12) two times in quick succession
(double-click) . Powerful shots of steam will be released.
Vertical steam
Can be used to remove creases from hanging clothes, curtains, etc.
2. Hold the iron in an upright position 15 cm away from the garment to be
steamed.
3. Press the steam release button (13) repeatedly with pauses of at least 5
seconds.
WARNING: Never point the steam jet at garments being worn or at people
or animals.
Healthy Program
If the “Healthy” program is activated, it provides a special combination of
temperature and steam application intervals to obtain a hygienic effect without
using chemical additives. It can be used on all types of fabrics and is extremely
ef
fi cient on both thick and delicate fabrics.
1. Press the “HEALTHY / BOOST” button (3). The indicator lamp will illuminate.
2. To return to normal mode, press the “HEALTHY / BOOST” button again.
Normal mode is recommended for best results on thick and heavily wrinkled
garments.
