TROUBLE SHOOTING
Problem Possible cause Solution
The iron begins to
smoke when switched
on During fi rst use: certain
components on the ap-
pliance have been light-
ly greased at the fac-
tory and may produce a
small amount of smoke
when initially heated
This is completely nor-
mal and will stop after a
short while
The iron does not pro-
duce any steam During fi rst use, water
has not fi lled the hose

Press and hold the
steam release button

out
The “Calc Clean” indi-
cator light (1) will

The descaling process
has not been completed
