DO’S
1. Check that the mains voltage stated on the rating plate corresponds to the local
electricity supply.
2. Unwind and straighten the power & supply cords before use.
3. Place and use the appliance on a
fl
at and steady surface.
4. Avoid the power and supply cords touch the soleplate.
5. Insert the anti-cal cartridge before use.
6. Keep the anti-cal cartridge and granules away from children at all times.
7. The plug of the supply cord must be removed from the socket before the water tank
is
fi
lled with water.
8. Never pull the cable to disconnect it from the socket. Instead, unplug by pulling gently
the plug from the socket.
9. Keep electrical appliances out of the reach of children or in
fi
rm persons. Do not let
them use the appliance without supervision.
10. Empty the water tank after use.
11. The
fi
lling aperture must not be opened during use. Instructions for the safe re
fi
lling
of the water reservoir shall be given.
12. Children should be supervised to ensure thet they do not play with the appliance.
13. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowl-
edge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appli-
ance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
14. Keep the iron and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years of age when it is
energized or cooling down.
15. Do not allow children to perform cleaning and user maintenance when they are
whithout supervision.
16. Do not touch the surfaces marked with symbol
during or just after ironing. It is
hot!
17. When placing the iron on its stand, ensure that the surface on which the stand is
placed is stable.
