DON’ Ts
1. Do not allow children touch the appliance when ironing.
2. Do not leave the appliance unattended while it is connected to a mains supply outlet.
3. Do not use an extension power cord, unless it is 10A.
4. Do not add perfumed, vinegar or other chemical liquids into the water tank; they can
damage the appliance seriously.
5. Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
6. Do not use the appliance when it is damaged or performs abnormally. The iron is not
to be used if it has been dropped, if there are visible signs of damage or if it is leak-
ing. If the cord or any other part is damaged, you must immediately stop the use of
the appliance and you should contact any SINGER Service Center or SINGER Client
Service.
7. Do not touch the soleplate during or just after ironing. It is hot!
8. Do not warp the supply cord around the appliance or the soleplate for storage, until it
has cooled down completely.
9. Do not attempt to open the appliance or dismantle any parts from the appliance. You
should contact any SINGER Service Center or SINGER Client Service.
