DRY IRONING
1.
Connect the appliance to a suitable socket outlet. Press the power switch at the base control
panel until the heating indicator light turn ON to show the connection of the power supply.
Set the steam adjustable knob to MIN for dry ironing.
2.
Set the temperature control dial at the iron and wait until the temperature indicator light lights
up, to indicate that the iron is being heated up according to the above fabric setting chart.
The temperature indicator light will blink to indicate that the iron is being heated up. It will
stop blinking when the required temperature is reached. The temperature indicator will cycle
from ON to OFF and then OFF to ON automatically during use.
Note:
Do not press the steam switch while dry ironing.
3.
After use, set the Temperature control dial to the MIN position and place the iron back on
the iron rest. Switch off the unit by pressing the power switch and then unplug the appliance
from the outlet.
Note:
When changing your Temperature control dial setting from a high setting to a lower, it
is proposed that you do not start ironing immediately, since burns to fabrics may occur due
to the high temperature. Wait for the temperature indicator light (on the iron unit) to stop
blinking and then start ironing.
VERTICAL STEAM IRONING
Follow the steam ironing process and then hold the iron in vertical
position between 5cm and 15cm away from the hanged fabrics.
Press the steam switch. This will create vertical steam. This feature
is especially useful for removing creases from hanging clothes and
curtains. Never direct steam to people or animals (Fig.6).
NOTE:
a.
During the steam process, the surface temperature of the sup-
ply hose may be hot. This is normal since steam is passing
through the steam pipe coming from the base to the iron. Do not
touch by hand!
b.
Keep the supply hose unblocked and untwisted.
REPLACEMENT OF FILTER
Follow the procedure below to replace the
fi
lter:
I.
Slide out the water tank from the base (Fig.7) and take out the
fi

(Fig.8).
