DONT’S
1. Do not touch the surfaces marked with symbol
during or just after ironing. It is hot!
2. Do not use an extension power cord, unless it is 10A.
3.
Do not add perfumed, vinegar or other chemical liquids into the water tank; they can damage
the appliance seriously.

Burns can occur from touching hot metal parts, hot water, or steam. Use caution when you
turn a steam iron upside down – there may be hot water in the water tank.
5. Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
6. Do not attempt to iron clothes, while worn by persons.
7. Do not leave the hot iron touch

ammable fabrics or surfaces.
8. Do not touch the appliance with wet or damp hands.

Do not touch the soleplate during or just after ironing. It is hot! Burns can occur from touching
hot water or steam. Do not direct hot steam towards people or animals.
10. Do not warp the supply cord around the appliance or the soleplate for storage, until it has
cooled down completely. Let the steam iron cool completely before putting it away.
11. Do not attempt to open the appliance or dismantle any parts from the appliance. You should
contact any SINGER Service Center or SINGER Client Service.
