REGULATING BOBBIN-THREAD
TENSION
You will seldom need to adjust
bobbin-thread tension. Usually it
possible to obtain a balanced
stitch by adjusting the needle-
thread tension alone. Should it be
necessary to regulate bobbin
thread tension, you can do so by
turning the screw on the bobbin
case. A very slight turn of the
screw will produce a noticeable
change in bobbin-thread tension.

To increase tension, turn screw
clockwise.
●
To decrease tension, turn screw
counterclockwise.
Use the small screwdriver supplied
with your machine to make adjust-
ments.
