ROLLER FOOT
When sewing leather, suede, plastic and
velvet, fit the roller foot to aid the smooth
flow of fabric. However, especially when
sewing softer leather and suede, better
results may be achieved by using the
normal zigzag foot.

BUTTON SEWING FOOT
The Button Sewing Foot is designed
to hold the button firmly in place when
attaching it to a garment or project.
Machine Preparation
• Lower or cover Feed Dogs
• Foot: Attach screw-on Button Sewing Foot
• Stitch: Sraight Stitch
1. Attach the darning plate, insert fabric
under press foot.
2. Insert button under foot, making sure to
align button opening with foot opening.
3. Align needle position (left needle
position) so that the needle enters
the (opening) hole on left side of the
button. (Always test the width by
turning your handwheel manually
before sewing.)
4. Sew 3 or 4 stitches to secure thread
end.
5. Select Zig-Zag Stitch.

6. Set stitch width so that needle clears
both button openings (holes) when
moving from left to right. (Always test
the width by turning your handwheel
manually before sewing.)
7. Sew 10 Zig-Zag stitches.
8. Select Straight Stitch.
9. Make sure the needle is aligned with
the left button opening (hole).
10. Sew 3 to 4 stitches to secure thread
end.
