and then heading for Gyro compass no.1 and no.2.
The example below (left) shows a display where the Gyros are not
settled (runtime less than 3 hours, indicated with an S). In the
example to the right, the Gyros have run for more than 3 hours.

Verify that heading 1 and heading 2 are in accordance with the
heading displayed on the Gyro compass’ Control panel.
Setting the heading difference alarm
The heading difference alarm is generated when the difference between
Gyro no.1 and Gyro no.2 exceeds the heading difference value.

Press the

button twice on the Change over panel until
HDM SET: is displayed in the display’s upper line.
HDM SET:10.0

button. The display will change to:

button again to activate the alarm setting

buttons to increase or decrease the alarm
difference value. Range: 5° - 15°.
