Framing and Finishing for 1/2-inch trim configuration
The included 1/2-inch (13 mm) side trim, is designed for
use with 1/2 inch (13 mm) wall sheathing as shown in
Figure 4.6.
Secure the wall sheathing to the construction framing.
Do not screw wall sheathing directly to the appliance.
If finishing with material other than 1/2 inch (13 mm)
thickness, shimming may be required to obtain a flush
finish to the side trim.
2-Sided Corner or Single-Sided Configuration and
Finishing
For installation as 2-sided or single-sided, the included
flat side plate shall be left in place on the side(s) intend-
ed to be covered with finishing material. Wall sheathing
or other finishing material is to be installed covering the
side of the appliance and flat side plate. Finishing and
framing material should be fastened to the construction
framing and not to the appliance. See Figure 4.7.
