Lubrication
Lubricate the unit at the locations shown in Figures 14-
17 as well as the lubrication points listed. Generally, all
moving metal parts should be oiled where contact is
made with other parts. Keep oil and grease off belts and
pulleys. Wipe surfaces clean before and after lubrication.
Grease:
• steering linkage
• foot pedal
• mower linkage
• transmission idler assembly pivot
• rear axle shafts (remove wheel hubs)
• front axle where it contacts the frame
Use grease fittings when present. Automotive lithium
grease is recommended.
Oil:
• control linkage
• seat adjustment assembly
• brake linkage
• mower deck height adjustment linkage
• manual lift lever
