STORING YOUR ISTEAM
1. Store it in a cool dry place.
2. DO NOT wrap the power cord around the unit,
place it loosely.
NOTE: Water containing mineral levels will vary depending on
the place where you live in. To ensure the continuous operation
of the steamer, never store it without cleaning and removing
excess water from the water container or tank.
If you fill your isteam with tap water, you may experience
mineral build-up due to the high mineral content in the water
supply in many cities. Mineral residue inside your isteam’s
internal heater may cause intermittent steaming or, in severe
cases no steaming at all.
To avoid the problem, only use de-mineralized or distilled
water in your isteam. If you are unable to use de-mineralized
or distilled water, we recommend you to follow the cleaning
procedure below at least once a month to help avoid mineral
build-up.
Your isteam fails to heat
Your isteam should heat within two minutes. If after two minutes your isteam is still cool, check the following:
1.
Make sure the steamer is plugged into an electrical outlet.
2.
Fill the water tank. The automatic shut-off feature prevents your isteam from heating when the water level is low.
Your isteam is not emitting steam
If your isteam is not emitting steam, the water level is too low. Turn the ON/OFF switch off and refill.
Water is spraying from the nozzle
If your isteam is spraying water from the nozzle, the water tank is too full. Pour some water out until the water level is under the maximum level.
Nozzle gurgles
If the nozzle of your isteam makes a gurgling sound there is condensation around the nozzle. This is normal. Hold the steamer vertically and shake the body to allow
water to drain back into the tank.
Steam flows intermittently
If your isteam is not emitting a continuous flow of steam, sediment build-up is likely to be the problem. Follow the procedure for removing mineral build up of this
User Manual explained above.
1. Turn the unit off and unplug the power cord.
2. Prepare a mixture of 50% vinegar and 50%
water, in most cases 1 cup of this mixture will be
enough.
3. Slowly pour the water-vinegar mixture into the
water. Pour it out three minutes later.
4. If the procedure above does not return the unit
to a normal operation, the unit may need to be
checked by the product supplier.
If your isteam is not operating properly, please
check if it is related to any of the following
problems or conditions. If you are still unable to
detect and solve the problem, please contact us
for a replacement.
