Installation based on an engine version brose:  

Required tools: 

 

Torx 20 wrench 

 

8 mm allen key 

 

optional: ISIS crank puller (if you can`t remove the crank per hand) 

 

optional: flat nose pliers 

Unscrew the 8 mm allen key (Fig. 13). Remove the crank. If you can`t remove the crank by hand, take a 

crank puller. Remove the 5 Torx screws with a socket (Fig. 14). Now the engine cover can be removed. If 

necessary, pull the plug speed sensor with a flat nose pliers (Fig. 15). 

Now cut through the cable of the speed sensor in order to be able to connect the wires to the terminal 

block. Insert the cable ends into the terminal block. Observe the label on the terminal block for correct 

polarity (Fig. 16). The cables are fixed by pressing on the insulation displacement terminal (Fig. 17). 

Lay the USB connection cable with the supplied cable ties to the desired position of the sIMPLEk-Stick Pro
