5.3 Checking Air Filter

Pull out
and remove the choke lever
by hand and take off
the air filter cover, take
out the air
filter element carefully.
Wash
air filter
with clean water
,
soak
it in engine oil, then,
squeeze the oil out.
Install the air filter, push
the air filter cover
and the choke
lever back in place.
IMPORTANT
Clean air filter element for every 50 hours of use (every
10 hours under dusty conditions). Wash in high flashpoint
solvent, squeeze dry, dip in clean engine oil, and squeeze
out excess oil.
5.4 Purging

Release the safety trigger if it is locked.

PURGING
Purge air by squeezing the trigger on the gun until there is a
steady stream of water.
WARNING — DEPRESSURIZED
After cleaning is completed turn off the water supply
and pull the trigger to depressurize the unit. Failure to
do so might result in personal injury due to discharge of
high-pressure water.
