iii. The progress of the write operation will be displayed in the ‘Current
Message Progress’ area.
iv. In the Comms History area, after a short delay, confirm that a ‘Completed
Write All Config’ message is displayed.
v. When the write operation is completed, the success or failure of the
operation for each VAC, Site or Base will be indicated in the Comms History
area.
19. If the Tier III Base Station is being installed in an existing system, to upload
(write) the configuration stored in the SDMT to an individual base, proceed as
follows:
a. On the SDMT main screen, on the ribbon bar, select the System
Commands button. The System I/O configuration page will be displayed.
On the System I/O page, In the System Monitor area, on the navigation tree, right
click on the base that you wish to write the configuration to. Menu options will be
displayed.
b. From the menu options, select the ‘Update’ > ‘Write Config’ option. The
Write Config warning message will be displayed.
c. On the Write Config warning message, select the ‘Yes’ button to
continue.
d. In the Comms History area, confirm that a ‘Starting Write Configuration’
message is displayed.
e. The progress of the write operation will be displayed in the ‘Current
Message Progress’ area.
f. In the Comms History area, after a short delay, confirm that a
‘Completed Write Configuration’ message is displayed.
20. To reboot a complete system, carry out the following:
a. On the System I/O page, in the System Monitor area, on the navigation
tree, right click on the VAC for the system. Menu options will be
displayed.
b. From the VAC menu options, select ‘Base Operations’ > ‘Reboot Base(s)’
option. The ‘Reboot Bases’ warning message will be displayed.
c. On the Reboot Bases warning message, select ‘Yes’ to continue.
d. In the Comms History area, confirm that a ‘Starting Resetting VAC’
message is displayed and, after a short delay, confirm that a ‘Completed
Resetting VAC’ message is displayed.
e. The Reboot operation of all the bases relevant to the system will now
take place.
21. To reboot an individual base, carry out the following:
a. On the System I/O page, in the System Monitor area, on the navigation
tree, right click on the base that you have written the configuration to.
Menu options will be displayed.
