4.1
Start-up
Once installation of the
SIME SMART PLUS
Remote Control has
been completed, proceed as follows:
– Set the main system switch to ON (on)
– From the boiler control panel, set “Stand-by” mode
ON
– The display of the remote control unit will show the following

Connecting SIME SMART PLUS to the Wi-
Fi network
(this step does not require the use of the Sime Connect
app but only a smartphone)

Make the electrical connections.

Power up the
SIME SMART PLUS.

Choose a network name (SSID) and password of the
Wi-Fi network to which the system must be connected
SIME SMART PLUS

Check on your smartphone that there is a Wi-Fi signal in
the exact point where the
SIME SMART PLUS
device.

On the
SIME SMART PLUS
from the main page press the
@
key; select “Wi-Fi” and “AP mode activation”. If the op-
eration was carried out correctly, “AP” will appear at the
top left-hand side of the display. If the operation was not
completed correctly, repeat the procedure of
point 5
.

On your smartphone search for the Wi-Fi network called
“SIME SMART ##” and connect to it even if the device sig-
nals that there is no access to the Internet.

Open a Web page from the device’s browser
and enter the address 192.168.233.1 or, alter-
natively, scan the QR Code shown here. You will
access a SIME page where you can set the cre-
dentials of the domestic Wi-Fi network to which the
SIME SMART PLUS
device will be connected.
Press OK to confirm the
settings.

The connection phase may last up to 5 minutes. The
icon will appear at the end if the connection was made
correctly. If not, we suggest repeating the operations from
point 5
