7.1. Correct use

7.1.1. Place the arm A unit in a 45° angle 

over the rebar cross surface and push 

the mouth towards the rebar. 

7.1.2. Place Arm A vertically on top of 

the rebar cross surface and push the 

mouth towards the rebar.

During use 

Do not move the RE-BAR tier 

while it is tying.

7.1.3. The ties should be made in 

 

alternating directions. 

7.2. Cross-tying. 

Bend down the knot of the first tie, before 

you make the second tie. 

8. Maintenance

8.1. Clean and check the RE-BAR tier on 

a regular basis.

8.2. The RE-BAR tier requires no lubri-

cation.

Do not use any kind of lubrication on the 

RE-BAR tier. This may damage the RE-

BAR tier.

8.3. Clean the feeding gear and sur-

rounding areas on a regular basis, to 

avoid dust and metal residue getting 

into the machine and causing problems. 

This can be done with an air blow gun. 

9. Storage

The RE-BAR tier must not be stored in cold 

conditions. It should be kept at approx. 

20°C. When the machine is not in use, 

it should be stored under warm and dry 

conditions. Keep the machine out of the 

reach of children. 

10. Troubleshooting / repairs

The RE-BAR tier will eventually need main-

tenance service and replacement of worn 

parts due to normal wear and tear. 

Troubleshooting and/or repairs are only 

to be carried out by authorised dealers or 

specialists.

The RE-BAR tier warns about malfunctions 

using beep sounds. Follow the matrix on 

page 40 to find out what is wrong.

WARNING 

If one of the problems listed on 

page 40 occurs, set the main 

switch to 0 position, before trying to solve 

the issue. 

When the main switch is set to 1 - do not 

place your fingers near the curl guide or 

other moving parts of the machine. If the 

problem still occurs, contact your dealer.
