2. Battery

2.1. Durability of the battery.

If the battery is fully charged, but the oper-

ating time significantly reduced, the battery 

is defective and must be replaced. 

If the battery temperature is low (10°C or 

lower) the charging time will be prolonged. 

Caution: Do not use defective 

batteries. The RE-BAR tier will 

not work properly.

4.2. Re-cycling of Li-Ion 

batteries.

The batteries for the TJEP RE-

BAR tier are Li-Ion. It may be illegal to 

dispose of the battery through the ordinary 

waste system. Your local waste authori-

ties can inform you how to dispose of and 

recycle this type of battery correctly.

When disposing of the battery, make 

sure that the protection cap is placed 

correctly and taped to the battery. 

3. Safety features

To increase safety when tying, the RE-BAR 

tier is equipped with the following safety 

features.

WARNING

Before use, make sure that the 

devices work as intended. Other-

wise, do not use the RE-BAR tier.

3.1. Trigger lock

The RE-BAR is equipped with a trigger 

lock. Lock the trigger when the RE-BAR tier 

is not in use. 

When the RE-BAR tier is not in use, lock 

the trigger and remove the battery. When 

you start tying, insert the battery and 

release the trigger lock by pushing the lock 

left and upwards.

3.2. Curl guide 

If you pull the trigger while the curl guide is 

open, the RE-BAR tier will make a warning 

signal and refuse to tie. To make the tie, 

release the trigger and make sure that the 

curl guide is closed.
