How does Vole & Mole Free Solar 500™ work?
Most burrowing rodents have poor sight but well-developed hearing. They feel the smallest vibration in the ground,
which warns them of approaching danger. Vole & Mole Free Solar 500™ emits low-frequency sound waves that
burrowing rodents do not like, and they leave the area.
Are different soil types an obstacle?
Vole & Mole Free Solar 500™ works best in clayey soils that disperse the low-frequency sound waves better. Here,
Vole & Mole Free Solar 500™ will cover a maximum of around 500 m

. Vole & Mole Free Solar 500™ also works in
other soils, but covers a smaller area.
How do I use Vole & Mole Free Solar 500™?
Bury Vole & Mole Free Solar 500™ up to its top in the area under attack. Make sure that the position allows maximum
access to sunlight. For optimal functionality, leave the device in “Off” mode for two sunny days to fully charge the
battery. Then switch the device to “On”, and it will begin to function immediately.

Does Vole & Mole Free Solar 500™ tolerate rough weather?
Vole & Mole Free Solar 500™ is resistant to water but should be moved if the ground becomes waterlogged or
freezes. Waterproof IP44 – protected against ingress of particles or water.
When will I see results?
It normally takes around 2-3 weeks before you notice any improvement. In some cases, you may have to wait longer.

Vole & Mole Free Solar 500™, please read the following instructions carefully:
• When Vole & Mole Free Solar 500™ is well buried in the ground, it begins to produce low-frequency sound waves
that are dispersed in circular form. When positioning Vole & Mole Free Solar 500™, consider that the sound waves
do not pass through solid material, for example foundations.
• The sound waves are dispersed in circular form from the unit. How effectively and how far they travel depends on
the type of soil. Heavy clayey soil produces the best results, while loose sandy soil produces less good coverage.
• For optimum effect do not insert the post directly into the burrow of the mole or vole.
• Create a hole in the area where the vermin live. Do NOT bang Vole & Mole Free Solar 500™ down with a hammer
or similar. Place it carefully in the hole. Then fill the hole with soil up to the top, making sure you pack it well round
the device.
• Normally sunlight is enough to keep the battery charged up. During long periods of cloudy/bad weather, the
battery may discharge until the weather improves. Check regularly that Vole & Mole Free Solar 500™ is working
properly.
• Move the unit if the ground becomes waterlogged or freezes.
• Vole & Mole Free Solar 500™ works from the moment you bury it in the ground. It takes around 2 weeks before
you notice any changes. Remember that you need both patience and perseverance to change animals’ behaviour
patterns. But when the problems are gone, you can enjoy a rodent-free garden in peace and quiet.

Vole & Mole Free 500 Solar™ can withstand rain and snow but must never be immersed in water. The device must
also be removed if there is a ground frost
