Storage
• When storing the heater, ensure that it has totally cooled down and is completely dry.
• Cover the heater with a plastic bag and store it in a dry, ventilated place.
Disposal
Always adhere to national regulations when disposing of power tools that are no longer functional
and are not viable for repair.
• Do not dispose of power tools, or other waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), with
household waste
• Contact your local waste disposal authority for information on the correct way to dispose of
power tools

The heat shuts ‘OFF’
but the fan stays ‘ON’
The fan is designed to run continuously while the heater is
operating; the thermostat is designed to switch ‘ON’ and
‘OFF’ to maintain the set temperature
The heater is operating correctly
The heating element is smoking
slightly and there is a
burning odour
The steel element’s protection oil coating is burning ‘OFF’
If this is the first time the heater has been used, this is normal and the amount of
smoke emissions will diminish in a short time. If it is a constant stream of smoke
and the heater has been used several times, immediately switch the heater ‘OFF’
and contact an authorised Silverline service centre
The heating element is not glowing
bright red like other heaters
The heating element is made from stainless steel and will
not glow bright red like other heaters
The heater is operating correctly
There is no heat or air
flow coming from the heater
The power to the heater has been shut ‘OFF’
