Safety instructions
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
►
Connect the appliance only to mains power sockets supplying a
mains power voltage of 220 - 240 V ~ / 50/60 Hz.
►
To avoid risks, arrange for defective plugs and/or power cables
to be replaced at once by qualified technicians or our Customer
Service Department.
►
In the event of operating malfunctions, and before cleaning the
appliance, disconnect the plug from the mains power socket.
►
To disconnect the power cable, always pull the plug from the
socket, do not pull the power cable itself.
►
Do not crimp or crush the power cable and lay it in such a way
as to prevent anyone from stepping on or tripping over it.
►
Ensure that the power cable does not become wet or moist during
use. Place it such that it cannot be crushed or damaged.
►
Should the appliance become damaged, to avoid personal risks
discontinue the use of it immediately.
►
Do not wrap the power cable around the appliance and protect it
from being damaged.
►
To enable you to disconnect the appliance quickly in the event of
an emergency, do not use extension cables.
►
NEVER grasp the appliance, the power cable or the plug with
wet hands.
►
Under no circumstances may the appliance be submersed in
fluids or fluids be allowed to permeate the housing. Do not
expose the appliance to humidity and do not use it outdoors.
Should liquids enter the housing, disconnect the appliance from
the mains power socket immediately and arrange for it to be
repaired by a qualified technician.
►
Disconnect the appliance from the mains power source immediately
after use. The appliance is completely free of electrical power
ONLY when unplugged.
