Insert the permanent filter into the brewing chamber , holding it by the
handle.

Flip the handle into any direction.
♦
Place the lid on the jug in the
position so that the handle
points to the mark.

Close the lid by turning it to the position. Both marks face each
other.
The appliance allows you to pre-set a brewing time and temperature. You can
choose a brewing time of
0 min
,
3 min
,
5 min
or
8 min
. The
0 min
setting is
used exclusively for boiling water. You can set a temperature of
70°C
,
80°C
,
90°C
or
100°C
.
We recommend the following:

Press the button as often as necessary to set the required brewing
time: A blue LED indicates the chosen brewing time.
♦
Press one of the temperature buttons to choose the desired temperature.
The pressed button will light up in blue. The set temperature cannot be
changed while the appliance is brewing tea.

Do not open the lid while the water is boiling or extremely hot.
There is a risk of scalding.

Press the
button to boil the water. The
button
will flash blue
during the boiling process.
NOTE
►
If you remove the jug from the base during the boiling process, the
process will pause and the
button
will flash blue/red in alternation.
As soon as you place the jug on the base , the boiling process continues
and the
button
flashes in blue again.
►
Press the
button to cancel the boiling process prematurely.
This allows you to set a different temperature, for example.
