Handling and use
Important preliminary remarks
DANGER – RISK OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK!

Never bring the electrical base close to water!
WARNING – RISK OF INJURY!

Always use fresh drinking water. Do not consume water that has been in
the appliance for longer than one hour. Do not reboil water that has cooled
down. Always pour old water away.
Germs may have formed!
CAUTION – PROPERTY DAMAGE!

Do not put sugar or other food products into the appliance. Do not heat
milk, alcohol or other liquids in the appliance. This will cause irreparable
damage to the appliance.
NOTE
►
The
button
lights up blue when the appliance is in standby mode.
When the appliance is in operational mode, the
button
flashes blue.
If the
button
flashes blue/red in alternation, the operational/keep-
warm mode is paused. When the appliance is in keep-warm mode, the
button
flashes blue.
►
This appliance is equipped with an overheating protection function: if the
appliance is switched on unintentionally without any water in the jug, the
appliance switches itself off automatically.
Switching the appliance on/off
The appliance is ready for use when the mains plug is plugged into a power
socket.

Press the
button for 2 seconds to switch the appliance off. All lamps
go out.

Press any button to switch the appliance on.
