Notes on the radio interface
■
Keep the device at least 20 cm away from a pacemaker or implanted defibril-
lator, as the proper functioning of the pacemaker or the implanted defibrillator
could be affected by radio waves.
■
The transmitted radio waves can cause noise interference in hearing aids.
■
Do not use the device with the radio components switched on in the presence of
flammable gases or in a potentially explosive atmosphere (e.g. in a paint shop), as
the transmitted radio waves can cause an explosion or ignite a fire.
■
The range of the radio waves is dependent on the environment and the ambient
conditions.
■
Data transmissions via a wireless connection can be intercepted by unauthorised
third parties.
Handling batteries
DANGER
Mishandling batteries can cause fires, explosions, leakages or
other hazards!
►
Do not swallow the batteries; there is a danger of chemical burns.
►
Keep new and used batteries away from children.
►
If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product
and keep it away from children.
►
If you suspect batteries may have been swallowed or have got into any
part of the body, seek immediate medical help.
►
Batteries must never be short-circuited, taken apart, deformed or thrown
into a fire. There is a risk of explosion!
►
Chemicals from leaking or damaged batteries can cause skin irritations
when touched, so please use suitable protective gloves if this occurs. In the
event of contact with the skin, rinse with plenty of water. If the chemicals
come into contact with your eyes, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water, do
not rub and consult a doctor immediately.
►
Do attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries. There is a risk of fire
and/or explosion!
►
When inserting the batteries, note the correct polarity (plus/+ and minus/−).
►
Do not mix different types of batteries. Empty batteries should be removed
because of the increased risk of leakage.
►
During extended periods of non-use (e.g. during storage), remove the
batteries from the remote control to prevent damage caused by battery
leakage.
