Connecting a playback device
You can connect a wide variety of playback devices to this device, for
example MP3 or CD players. Please refer to the operating instructions of the respec-
tive device. Switch off all devices before connecting them.
NOTE
►
When playing back music via the AUX connections, the
/
PAIR
( + ),
( + ) and
( + ) buttons on the unit and the remote con-
trol are inactive. You can, however, turn the MUTE function on and off using
the
button . Use the Play/Pause and skip functions on the external
playback device that you have connected.
►
Before starting playback, set a moderate volume. When you reach the
maximum volume, you will hear a signal and the volume can no longer be
increased.
Connecting a playback device using a 3.5 mm jack cable

Connect the line-out connector of the external device (e.g. headphone socket) via
a 3.5 mm jack cable to the AUX 1 socket on the rear of the device.

To switch on the device, press the

Press the

button on the device or the

button on
the remote control repeatedly until

appears on the display .

Switch on the connected playback device and start playback.
Connecting a playback device using a cinch cable

Connect the audio input jacks

and
L
on the rear of the device using an
audio cinch cable with the corresponding audio output sockets on the external
audio device. Make sure that the red and white colour markings correspond.

To switch on the device, press the

button on the device or the

button on
the remote control repeatedly until

appears on the display .

Switch on the connected playback device and start playback.
NOTE

If both the AUX 1 socket and the AUX 2 socket are connected to
external playback devices, the music will be played back via the AUX 1
socket by default. To use the AUX 2 socket , simply disconnect the
3.5 mm jack cable from the AUX 1 socket .
