Using the slow cooker is not sufficient.
Red beans must be pre-cooked
for 10 minutes in boiling water
before putting them in the
slow cooker.
* The cooking time is extended by around 2 hours on the LOW setting and reduced by around 1.5 hours
on the HIGH setting.
8.5 Switching off / Removing the ceramic pan
Risk of burns!
The glass lid (2) and ceramic pan (4) get very hot when the slow cooker is in use. Be careful
not to burn yourself. Wear oven gloves if necessary.

Once your food is cooked, you can move the control dial (7) back to the OFF position to switch the
device off.

Unplug the power cable plug from the wall socket.
